The Šibenik area of the Croatian Adriatic is a true sailor’s paradise. This area is most densely packed with islands and islets, and it is located between two national parks, Kornati in the south and Krka in the north. This area would be an interesting sailing route even if it weren’t for the national parks, thanks to the abundant coastal archipelago beginning with Murter and ending off the coast of Rogoznica. The vicinity of such a large number of islands makes the Šibenik area attractive for smaller boats. Another entry on the long list of reasons to visit the Šibenik area is the old city of Šibenik itself, whose Cathedral of St. James and newly renovated forts leave visitors from around the world breathless. However, this is just the beginning of the enchantment you will experience in the Šibenik area. From its exquisite gastronomy, traditional local wines, rich art history, to the archaeological sites from the Roman era located in the vicinity of the coast – there is something for everyone. This is why it is no surprise that the nautical infrastructure in this area is on the highest level. The numerous marinas in the Šibenik area offer top-quality services for sailors who visit them gladly.
